Our association InterMedia f.C.e.V. has been involved in delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine for 30 years. Since the beginning of the war in 2014, we organized summer camps for children from the conflict regions in the east of Ukraine.

A few days after the beginning of the invasion on 24.02, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy, we launched the initiative "Help Ukraine Today" to collect money and material donations for the population, as well as the homeland defenders of Ukraine.

The donated funds will be used for a centralized procurement of items listed below, organized by us. Donations in kind from the list of needs will be accepted at acceptance points.

About us

Help Ukraine Today's tasks include responding to needs requests from the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior, administrative districts or city governments. The organization also accepts inquiries from villages or private individuals. In order to fulfill the order, medicines and protective equipment are purchased in close cooperation with the authorities or collected through donations in kind. At the acceptance points in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, 40 volunteers coordinate the logistics, inquiries from the Ukraine and Germany, as well as the work of numerous volunteers.

In addition, the association is involved in refugee aid by helping refugees flee to Germany and providing shelter where possible. The representative of Help Ukraine Today in Thuringia serves breakfast and lunch for refugees from Ukraine in the butchery "Brennecke" every Saturday.
